In the Ranchi Test against India on Day 2, England pacer Ollie Robinson made his first-ever Test half-century, displaying his developing batsmanship. Robinson began day two on 31 and spent little time in imposing his will on the game. With a succession of brilliant shots, he surpassed his previous Test best of 42.

This was obviously a great occasion for Robinson, as he acknowledged the cheers from the spectators by raising his bat in delight.
